    Re: New Chinese Router

    it running almost 3 years..
all issue was a 150 dollar powersupply
if you like I can ask the guy who sold it
and you can talk couple of real customer..

    beyond normal wear nothing...

I like ballscrew.. it enough fast.. cutting 4 in sized letters, and smaller you can not use over 200 ipm.. machine wont accelerate out..

my machine actually can run with 8000 mm per min over 300 ipm.. it just don't need really..

next machine I might risk gear, but really thinking on a 20-25 mm lead ballscrew.. that same fast than most geared machines..

many folks don't speak up, but they shifting to Chinese.. I follow ebay and see folks from cnczone selling good brands machines..

just some examples.. spindles could cost you 10-15 K replacing..
control at least 4K if stepper
    servo replacing start with 5K

pendant before Chinese pendants came up, wasn't rare the 2-3 K

what I really miss no manufacturer takes the challenge.. if us manuf would close these prices.. like 20-30 percent more than Chinese.. then they would harvest easy..

    Re: New Chinese Router

    oh
    the most important

    if anyway, it breaks down..
first, they sending you parts.. in many xcase don't even expect you send back the old..

    can happen like for me
after 2 years, still tried to send part.. reason I purchased from other place it came in two days..
    not a week long

you can buy hundred of different place almost any part

with a ""preferred brand"" you can buy ONLY from manufacturer.. they makes all effort to hide who made it.. they are selling with a proprietary control.. you might never able to customize..

    mach3
or ncstudio.. you get support from 100's of places..

    so there are real differences

Yep - I like what I ordered. I know other people that ordered from same company. SALECNC was my second choice.

I should receive the machine early to mid november.

    Re: New Chinese Router

My new router is in process of being built.

There was a delay due to the Chinese Mid Autumn holiday, but Annie said it should be done in 5 days then a 2 day testing.

The Frame is nice and open in the middle. I will be able to make a way to mount stuff vertically.

Not on the boat yet - but on the way there.

I need to send one more payment.

That will be done on Monday.

Then, -- it's on a slow boat from China.

    Re: New Chinese Router

The Chinese missed a marketing opportunity with their product test demo. They should have carved your name in script form. Using Chinese symbols, you don't know if it performed correctly or not (unless you can read Chinese).

    Still it looks way cool.
