    New Chinese Router

Looks like I am going to go for it.

I just compared price to the CNC Routerparts PRO kit with NEMA 34 --- NO comparison - this Chinese machine will run circles around the CNC router parts machine hands down.

In my shop I am estimating about $7200 - $7500

Cammaster would be well over $15,000 ---- so would all the rest.

CNC Pro Kit with NEMA 34 Is in the neighborhood of $9,000 - but they just don't have what I will be getting. HiWin rails for one. PLUS - I would need to build it. That is NOT what I want to do.

PLUS - my new machine will have a 8" rotary axis with 4' long bed and tailstock - fully integrated into Mach3, with it's own axis drives. I can mount a 8" diameter LOG in there and make a cool Mailbox Eagle Post.

Honestly - I don't believe I could build a comparable machine for the price.

They will take pictures and video when it is completed.

The rotary axis is 30 kg (66 pounds) I plan to build a cart to help me load and unload the rotary axis.

Ooooohhhhhh I can just see that in my shop.

    Diane gave me the blessing.

Ohhh yes - almost forgot - I >WILL< be selling my upgraded Larken Camtool 2424. Right now I don't know how much. I will install 3 brand new more powerful NEMA 24 Steppers.

NOW - I need to get a customs broker to help me import the machine.

That is really cool, Leo. Looks fantastic! Almost every project I get into I feel limited by the small CNC size I have here.

When the truck comes to unload it into your garage take lots of pictures. Nice.

I was waiting for you to tell me that.

NO, I don't believe I will regret it.

How is your machine holding up?
