I'd like a tour of the cast iron monsterosity.

A bit late but here it comes:

It is a KEV 600 combination machine. Made by Stenbergs Maskinbyrå AB in Stockholm, Sweden probably in the 1950-ies.

Table saw with 400mm (16") blade. There is also a sliding table that fits on the front for crosscutting or for ripping wide sheets.

Spindle moulder with 30mm arbour. There is also a sliding table to be used when cutting tennons.

There has also been a vertical morticer on the back but the table for it got lost sometimes before 1969. I would not have room for it in my shop anyhow. Similar machines were also sold as just jointer/planer combinations.

This is not exactly my whole shop, but it was sharpening day today. Yesterday I planed the top of my workbench which was a mess, and the day before built the mdf cover for sharpening or whatever.

Sharpening day. That thing that I always put off. Then in the middle of mentally cussing out any dullness in my chisels, scrapers, or planes. I remind myself I need to set aside sharpening time.

    Re: Show off Your Shop

    Hi there
I thought I would share my progress on my woodshop. I have been working on the shop and have relocated most of the machines from storage and into the shop. I have a long way to go but thought others might enjoy seeing the progress so far.
Since a picture is worth a thousand words I thought I would post a video. Is that worth more??

    Enjoy!!
