    My Tinkering With Shapes

This was a little goofy thing I was playing with today. Last night I was playing around with some shapes in Inkscape with a design in mind.

Today I did some cutting on the CNC. This is just a work in progress but it looks kinda neat. I figure it could hold a candle (a small one so the thing doesn't catch fire), or maybe an electric old timey light bulb. Maybe it could dangle from a ceiling or be used for something eles? Ideas?

Nothing has been glued, it's just rubber banded together while I look at it and think.

CNC machines are amazing things with a little outside the box thinking. This was made using Inkscape and Jscut.

    YES - I like it.

I think some scrolly stuff v-grooved in the faces of the shapes.

I agree - CNC can be VERY creative.

    Very neat idea.
I always say to people who ask "what can you do with your CNC?"...... everything.....anything.
And they just have a glazed look on their face when I say it.
For me, the CNC has expanded my creativity 1,000,000%

This is where I really envy you guys with CNC. I could relay get a lot done with even a small (24x24) machine.
