I have been using a ShuttlePRO for a couple of years - nice, but it does not like dust and I don't like taking it apart to clean it.

Also I am so used to a MPG pendant from doing this at work for so many years - I just needed to bite the bullet.

    Re: CNC Gloat

I plugged it in and gave it a test drive.

I will say - there are some niceties about the shuttlepro I don't see here - but I think there is some fine tuning to be done.

I am truly spoiled by $400,000 machines

I have a new grinder right now that is capable of class xx tolerances.

I guess I am just NOT going to get that at home.

Right now - the shuttle pro is a LOT smother than the I-mach controller. But that does have it's issues.

    Sweet!

Since you mentioned you were back into signs as of late I had a question. I know you made that fantastic huge sign in the last year or so that required a tile cut function. I've found really cool open source software over the years that can do pretty much whatever I want, EXCEPT, being able to tile and make large signs in pieces. I was looking at Cut2D the other day primarily for that feature. If anyone knows of an open source program that would do that feature please let me know

Anyhow, enjoy the new 'toy' Leo. Very nice. And save the receipt to write it off as a business expense.

    that's a great stuff...
but... what you using pendant on a HAAS or other machines, they are wired differently than windows usb..

it just a forewarning, you cant trust windows like your industrial control on your workplace..

im using since 3 years ago a similar pendant, and from here would be very hard to work without..

    mine is wireless..
