Thread: Hi Everyone!

    Hi Everyone!

Hi Everyone, I'm new, I live in Reno, NV. I love to make things out of wood. My regular job is a mechanical drafter so I draw out plans with all the measurements before I start. I moved into a new, smaller house and I built my work bench out of scraps. I don't have a lot of time but when I do have a moment I usually do good work. My next plans are a cross between a bookcase and an entertainment center 9 ft high and 10 wide. And I'm paying someone to come and build a pole barn for me. I drew the plans for that too. I'm still working with an engineer as it's 30 X 20 ft. Barbara

Welcome Barbara! Build the shop bigger. You'll be amazed at how quickly you fill it up no matter how big you build it.

    Hello Barbara and welcome.

I agree with Stretch on the pole barn size. My shop is 20' x 30' and I ran out of room years ago.

As with everything money is always the deciding factor.

If the barn gets bigger the price goes up. I will have to stick with the 20 x 30. thanks for your thoughts!
