It's pretty simple, redwood 2x4's screwed to some redwood spacers with some 2x3 squares green coated wire. I planted a woodbine by my propane tank a few years ago and I thought this would give the vine some place to go up and shade my shop (this side faces South). It looks much better when the vine is leafed out, the leaves are just starting to bud so I thought now was the time to do it.

A friend of mine has rented a storage garage for years, apparently the owner sold it out from under him and he had to get his stuff out of it. He asked me if I wanted any of the wood he had in it. He gave me 48 1x4's 16' long of cedar and some 12" wide particle board shelving (8' long). So I spent most of today getting stored in my carport.

I cut some of it in half to 8' lengths since my carport rack is only 10' long.

I plan to add on to the back of the woodshop sometime this year so I figured I could use it for something in that (shelves or something).
