    Basement Storage

I've got an 8.5 'x 9' room in the basement that I decided to put some cabinets and shelves in. I already had a small fridge in place so all I needed was a freezer to have some extra capacity. As I was searching Craigslist for a good used freezer I came across a pair of 36" fridge/freezer units. Here are a few progress pics.

Not Sub Zero; GE Monogram. The guy was moving and didn't want to move them and settled on $300 each. A little clean up and a new door gasket for the fridge and we're up and running.

    Looking good my friend.
PS: I blame you for my decision to finish my downstairs area. I look at your basement and thought: Why can't mine look like that?

Looking good Scott. Big time SCORE on the fridge and freezer. I don't have the headroom for them in my old basement - but they would be awesome anywhere. might have to add onto our house again if I had a score like that

    Re: Basement Storage

I finished this project today and started moving stuff in. Now its time to move to the outside for awhile. Caj, good luck with your project. This was a PITA project but well worth the effort. John, I had to remove the cabinets (that I just installed) and the drop-in ceiling to get these units in and stand them up. I got my friend to help move them so I owe him a HUGE favor in return but worth the costs and work involved.
