    Just putting last finishing coats of Wipeon Poly on this large bowl I turned.

    Thanks James and yes. I did get the cedar from Mom on last trip to BC! lol. She saves her best pieces from the woodburning pile!

    That is a pure thing of beauty! To me 90% of this craft is visualization of what the raw material can be and you hit a homer on this one.

    Correction. This was a maple burl I found mom's place. It took us 3 days to cut it out!

    I thought I had already replied to this thread, but no...must be my oldtimer's kicking in.


    That's a very nice looking bowl. The wood is spectacular, the shape is pleasing and I really think the WT is in good proportion to the size. Nicely crafted.
