    Stonemasons

I recently joined this site through a link which brought me here from youtube.
Perhaps some will wonder why a Stonemason has Joined a site for woodworking.

the simple answer is Many of the techniques of cutting and sanding wood as very similar to that work on Stone.
And of course being a hobbyist in Woodworking im sure I can pick up some tips.
    Regards

    Sam.

Sam - you are MORE than welcome here.

I have read that all the ornate work we see in Wood and now in CNC has it's roots of Stone Masonry.

The stone carvers is the foundation to our ornate wood carving.

I am sure as some of us develop our skills in working with softer stone in CNC - you can be quite helpful to us.

Welcome from Pearland, TX (just south of Houston).
I'm sure we all would like to see some examples of the work you have done.

Woodworkers use architectural and masonry details also - just a different scale.
