Greetings ! New guy here ...

    Hey everyone,

My name is Tim Boger, been a member @ SMC and a couple of segmented forums for a while and kept seeing mention of WoW so I thought I'd give it a look.

My primary interest is turning, although I do enjoy some simply flat work occasionally.

Reside in SC, spent the first 40 years in Hawaii.

    Tim

Hi Tim: You have reached a great forum but I kind of doubt if it is where you intended to be. WOW that woodturners talk about is (World of Woodturners) I think. The way I understand their rules is that you need to be sponsored by a member. I have been a member here (World of Woodworkers) for years and it is kind of like home to me and I belong to some other forums so didn't see the need. I spend to much time on the computer anyway. Quite a few members on SMC are also members of World of Woodturners and would be happy to sponsor you. I don't think it is just the way their software works and not a way to limit members. Hope I haven't steered you wrong, if I have just ignore.

    Hey Fred,

You are correct, however, I have no regrets ..... pleased to be a new member here and look forward to learning a thing or two.

    Welcome Tim.

There are a few of us turners here on the forum though it has been a little slow lately. I hope you stick around and contribute to the discussions.
