    Greetings from west Texas

Hello folks. I'm a long time woodworker, but only have been turning for about 5 years. I live near Abilene, TX and belong to Wood Turners of North Texas in Ft Worth. Looking forward to learning more.

Welcome to WoW. We have one or two other Texas members here.

Before I discovered the Wonderful World of Turning, I built things like a cradle, lots of book cases, a foot locker for my son at A&M, tool benches, and stuff necessary to turn a garage into a shop then back into a garage. I like making things round a lot more now.

I'm still a turner wannabe...can't seem to get out of the flatwork mode. But it's all good.

Greetings from New Mexico! And I'm also formerly a flatworker until I got a lathe and now turning is mostly what I do with occasional ventures out of the turning vortex to do some flatwork.

    Welcome to the forum.
