    Just a quick clock

Just cutout of a piece of 1/4" Baltic birch plywood, it's 18" x 23" x 1/4" at the moment the only thing holding it to the door of my paint cabinet is the clockwork nut. I clear coated it with some automotive urethane with some flex additive, going to sand it and paint it. I haven't really decided what color yet, probably black, possibly spray a white mica mid coat over the black then clear coat and possibly paint the hands white if the white mica over the black doesn't make it to light for that? Either that or white with the white mica as a mid coat and leave the hands black. Which way would you go?

    Closer

The clock work is a C cell, takes some space out of my storage but shorter cans fixed that ;-)

    Thanks ~Mike

If at first you succeed, try to hide your astonishment.

Great Mike. Like the natural wood rather than any other finish.
